Con diversas actividades se celebrará durante octubre el “Mes del Adulto Mayor” en Osorno
Diversas actividades culturales, deportivas y recreativas considera la celebración del tradicional “Mes del Adulto Mayor 2022”, que fue lanzado oficialmente por el municipio de Osorno y que ofrecerá durante todo octubre diferentes eventos de sano esparcimiento para la tercera edad tales como shows artísticos, campeonatos de rayuela y la elección de la nueva Reina de los Adultos Mayores.
Este programa, que cuenta con el apoyo de organizaciones como la Unión Comunal de Adultos Mayores, Fundación Caritas, la Coordinadora Evangélica de Osorno y la Liga Deportiva-Recreativa del Adulto Mayor, “tiene por objetivo central promover una mejor calidad de vida en este grupo etario, a través del desarrollo de estas actividades que, este año, volverán a realizarse de forma normal y con mayores libertades, toda vez que desde el 1 de octubre no será obligatorio el uso de mascarilla y no se solicitará el Pase de Movilidad para los distintos eventos que se efectúen”, indicó, al respecto, el alcalde Emeterio Carrillo.
Aquello también fue valorado por el Presidente de la Unión Comunal de Adultos Mayores, José Rolando Ferrada, quien invitó a las personas de la tercera edad a participar de este mes de celebraciones, “pues esta pandemia ha sido muy difícil para nosotros, ya que tuvimos que estar mucho tiempo encerrados, sin poder juntarnos como clubes, y esta es la ocasión de poder distraernos”.
